"Easy to Pause When I Need To"
I’ve had ipsy for a while now, i think the thing I like most is how easy it is to change things around. Or at least that’s what I keep coming back to. If money is a little tight or I realize I probably don’t need more products piling up, I can just skip a month without it being a whole hassle. The app is straightforward too, unless I’m just used to it by now. I just like that I don’t feel locked in. Being able to pause or adjust my bag makes it feel worth keeping for me.

"Fun mix of familiar and new brands"
I like that Ipsy includes brands I already recognize plus a few new ones I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own. I usually assume the bag is going to be a fun little surprise each month, and so far that’s been true.

"Replacement was fine, but am I missing something with the refund?"
The replacement itself was okay and arrived without any real issues, but the refund took way longer than I expected. Am I missing something here, or does it usually take ages to process? Overall it got sorted in the end, but the wait was frustrating...

The design is really cute, and the bag feels sturdy in person. I did think it might be a tiny bit more spacious, but it still works well for everyday use and feels nicely made

"Decent options, but delivery promises fell flat"
I liked the add-on choices and the prices were reasonable, but the delivery experience was frustrating. One of my items showed up after my bag, even though it felt like they made it seem everything would arrive together. The tracking didn’t really help either and was confusing to follow. It wasn’t a total disaster, but when a company promises a smooth process, I expect them to actually stick to it. Overall, it just feels kind of hit or miss.

"They took the money for two orders and I didn't receive anything"
there is no live agent there's an ai bot that says they sent out a ticket and when I click it it ends up back on that bot voice. They didn't care that the first package came back, instead of calling me they kept the bag and sent me the next months box.

"Some Bags Are Worth It, Some Definitely Aren’t"
I’ve had mixed luck with these bags. A few of them are worth the money and hold up well, but others feel like a total miss. What’s frustrating is that the policies seem to have little loopholes that make it harder than it should be to get help when something doesn’t work out. It kind of feels like they’ve covered themselves in all the fine print, while the customer is stuck dealing with the issue. So yeah, some bags are worth it, but I’d be careful and read everything before buying

I checked my charges a few times because I always get a little nervous with billing stuff, but everything was right each time. No weird extra fees, no surprises, just charged the way it should be. that part was straightforward.

"Pretty impressed with the personalization"
I’ve been using ipsy for a few months now, the personalization has been better than I expected. Most of what I get actually works with my skin tone and fits the kind of makeup I use day to day, which is not always the case with subscription bags, let’s be real. I was kind of surprised they sent shades I’d actually pick out myself instead of random colors I’d never touch. I still tweak my quiz every now and then, but overall it really does feel like they’re paying attention. It makes opening the bag a lot more fun.

"I do like getting my Ipsy bag and…"
I do like getting my ipsy bag and trying out new products. It’s fun to have a little surprise each time, but some of the samples were way smaller than I expected. A few of them felt like they’d only last one or two uses, which was kind of disappointing. For the price, I still think it’s a fun treat. I just wish the sizes were a little more clear before you pick everything. Not bad, but not amazing either.

"Good Overall, But Not Always Consistent"
ipsy has been a bit hit or miss for me. I’ve gotten some products that I genuinely really like and end up using all the time, but then a few others feel kind of cheap or are way smaller than expected. Overall, I don’t think it’s bad, and there are definitely some fun finds, but I’d like it a lot more if the quality was a little more consistent

I had an issue with my bag the whole experience with customer service was so frustrating. They kept sending me the same generic replies over and over, and it took days just to hear anything back. It didn’t feel like anyone actually read what I wrote or cared enough to help fix it. I was really disappointed and upset by the whole thing. At this point, I’m done with ipsy.

I had a problem with one of my Ipsy orders and figured I’d be stuck waiting for days, because that’s usually how it goes for me with customer service stuff. But I messaged them and they actually got back to me way faster than I expected. They were nice, explained things clearly, and fixed the issue without making me jump through a bunch of hoops or repeat myself over and over. It was a relief, especially since I was already feeling frustrated about the order. Definitely made me feel a little better about keeping my subscription.

The packaging was clean and wasn’t smashed or beat up when it arrived. that’s really all you can ask for with shipping, if the box shows up in good condition, it usually means the product inside was handled properly too

"Not the Best First Impression, But It’s Okay"
My first impression of Ipsy wasn’t great. I was excited to try a bunch of new products, but the first bag felt kind of underwhelming and not very personalized. They do have a decent variety overall, and I like getting to try things I probably wouldn’t buy on my own. But after a few bags, it started feeling like the same kinds of items kept showing up, especially mascara and tiny skincare samples. Some months are fun and feel worth it, while others are just okay. It’s not terrible, I just wish there was more real variety instead of feeling like I’m getting repeats in a different bag.

"Shade Was a Little Off"
I wanted to like this, and the formula seemed fine, but the shade just wasn’t quite right on me. It looked different than I expected once I actually tried it on. Maybe I picked the wrong undertone, I’m not sure, but it was a bit off for my skin. I might try another shade because everything else seemed okay

"Quick fix for a missing item"
One of the items was missing from my IPSY bag this month, i was a little annoyed at first (I was really looking forward to trying it). I reached out to support, and they got back to me quickly without making it a hassle. They sent out the missing product and kept me updated along the way, which I appreciated. Mistakes happen (no big deal), but they handled it really well. 5 stars from me.

"Canceling Was Way More Annoying Than It Needed to Be"
I tried to cancel my ipsy bag it was such a hassle. It kept sending me from one page to another like they were hoping I’d just give up. I finally managed to get it canceled, but it took way more steps than it should have. I also tried reaching out by email, and the replies felt like they were written by robots, not actual people trying to help. Really frustrating experience overall.

I wasn’t expecting much from the app, since a lot of shopping apps feel clunky, but this one has been easy to use. The site loads fine, I can edit my bag without hunting around, and tracking orders is simple too. So far, I haven’t really run into any issues.
